The Balochistan health department has confirmed record highest 200 cases of the novel coronavirus in one day on Sunday. With the confirmation of fresh cases, the number of cases rises to 4,393 in the province since the outbreak of the pandemic.

Most of the cases have been reported from Quetta, the capital of Balochistan. However, cases continue to increase in Pishin, Killa Abdullah, and other parts of the province on a daily basis.

However, over 1500 patients have recovered from the deadly virus so far in the province. Most of the patients with mild symptoms have recovered at their homes while battling the virus. Serious patients have been admitted to Fatima Jinnah Chest and General Hospital.

Waseem Baig, the Spokesman Corona Cell Balochistan said that the deadly virus has caused 47 deaths so far in the province. Mr. Baig said that plasma of patients recovered from the deadly virus has proved to be supportive of the patients battling the virus. Initially, two patients have been transmitted plasmas of patients recovered from COVID19, Mr. Baig informed.

Hitherto, the Balochistan health department has confirmed over 24,000 tests of coronavirus in the province. The government plans to enhance the number of tests and improvement of testing capacity to reach out to a maximum number of people.
