Around 247,000 patients recovered from the novel coronavirus as the number of cases passed 277,000 across Pakistan on Friday. Most of the patients have recovered from the virus at their homes in isolation. Patients with mild symptoms battled the virus at their homes.
However, seriously ill patients have been battling the virus at various hospitals in the country. The recovery ratio appears to be high in Pakistan as compared to other parts of the globe.
Cases of the novel coronavirus have passed 277,000 in the country as Punjab and Sindh reported many cases. The virus has caused 5,931 deaths so far in the country. During the last one week, cases of the deadly virus have declined in Pakistan.
In Balochistan, the number of patients has dropped from an average of 300 to 400 to less than 50 daily. Despite a decline in cases, the government has urged upon the masses to adopt social distancing and standard operating procedures to battle the virus. The virus has however affected all 33 districts of Balochistan. Moreover, Quetta, Pishin, Killa Abdullah, Jaffarabad, Mastung and Chaghi have been hit hard by the virus. The province has so far confirmed 136 deaths caused by the novel coronavirus.
Sindh has so far confirmed 120,052 cases, Punjab has confirmed 92,873 Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa 33,510, Balochistan, 11,732, Islamabad,15,014 GB 1,796, AJK 1,840.
