QUETTA: The former Balochistan health minister, Syed Ehsan Shah merged his Pakistan National Party (PNP) with the Balochistan National Party (Mengal) on Tuesday. BNP Chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal and Syed Ehsan Shah addressed a joint press conference and announced the merger.

Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal invited all those people of Balochistan who have not yet decided their destination to come and be a united voice for the rights of Balochistan. “I congratulate Ehsan Shah and his friends for merging their party in BNP”, Sardar Mengal said.

“I hope they will take the program of Balochistan National Party door to door for the rights of Balochistan. “I am ready to work with him as a worker”, he said. Chairman Asif and other friends on the occasion of joining their party in BNP.

On this occasion, Balochistan National Party Central Secretary General Waja Jahanzeb Baloch, Akhtar Hussain Longo, Hamal Kalmati, Ghulam Nabi Murri, Musa Baloch and other leaders were also present.

Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal said that just as Syed Ehsan Shah and his Friends have trusted us, God willing, we will try to live up to their trust. Joining Syed Ehsan Shah and his friends is an invitation for those friends who still cannot decide to search for their destination.

He said that Balochistan National Party is the only party that is fighting for the rights of the people from the first day while staying within the constitution and missing persons.

“I have been fighting for political struggle since 1992”, Syed Ehsan Shah said. “I have also been a senator, a member of the assembly, I have been a part of the government and the opposition”, Mr. Shah said. I will merge my party and become a part of this caravan which is working as an effective force in the parliament because at present the Baloch population is divided into different parties.
