ZHOB: September 26, 2024 – Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has warned that terrorists are now using females for suicide attacks to destabilize the country. Addressing a tribal jirga on Thursday, CM Bugti stated that extremist elements, referred to as Khawarij, are exploiting common people for their nefarious purposes, including women, which is against Balochistan’s traditions. He emphasized that these groups are attempting to divide people through sectarian conspiracies but will not succeed, as the people of Balochistan, tribal elders, and security forces are united against such threats.

The jirga was attended by key provincial leaders, including Governor Balochistan Sheikh Jafar Khan Mandukhel, ministers, parliamentary secretaries, and security officials. CM Bugti assured his full cooperation in restoring peace and announced several development measures, including the provision of armored vehicles to the Sherani Levies Force, construction of a new Basic Health Unit, and improvement of infrastructure in the region. He also emphasized merit-based employment, stating that the era of job buying and selling is over, and urged administrative officers to prioritize solving public problems.

The Chief Minister reiterated that improving governance and securing key highways are top priorities for his administration and vowed to take all necessary steps to ensure peace and stability in Balochistan.
