Awaran: A Levies personnel was shot dead by unidentified assailants in the Gishgor tehsil of Awaran district on Friday. According to local authorities, the victim, identified as Noor Bakhsh, was targeted by unknown armed men who opened fire, killing him on the spot.
The body was shifted to a nearby hospital, and Levies forces quickly arrived at the scene to launch an investigation into the incident. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
In a separate incident, authorities recovered two dead bodies from the Pirandar area of Awaran district. Details about the identity of the deceased and the cause of their death are yet to be disclosed. Security forces are investigating the matter.
