The Balochistan education department has launched an online program for enrollment of kids across the province to avoid a waste of time during the closure of the educational institutions. This was announced by education minister Balochistan, Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind in a video released by the education department.
“Parents should get their kids enrolled online in schools”, the education minister appealed in the video. Major reason behind launching of this online program is to avoid a waste of time and get all out of school children enrolled.
The education minister also informed that an online teacher training program was also launched to improve the capacity of teachers in the province.

All educational institutions across the country would remain closed till May 31st in view of the looming threat of outbreak of novel coronavirus. The step by the federal government has been taken to halt the spread of coronavirus in the country.
“My home and my school program have also been launched in Balochistan”, Sardar Rind mentioned, referring to UNICEF and government of Balochistan’s joint program to make sure provision of education to students during the lockdown and closure of educational institutions.

Mr. Rind also said that parents and teachers committee were also established in the province to make sure transparency in terms of utilization of funds for provision of basic facilities to schools across the province. Over 10,000 parents and teachers committees have been formed in Balochistan to make sure transparency in terms of utilization of funds, Ghulam Ali Baloch, the Secretary Secondary Education Balochistan tells Quetta Voice.
