QUETTA: One person was injured in a hand grenade attack on a government’s office near the Chaman Patak area of Quetta on Monday morning. According to the initial reports of the incident several people were injured. However, police later confirmed that one person was wounded in the attack.
The police sources told that unknown miscreants threw a hand grenade inside the government’s office and succeeded in escaping from the spot. There is no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
The injured person by the blast was rushed to the hospital for their medical treatment. Police quickly reached the spot of the incident and cordoned off the area to start an investigation into the incident.
The CCTV footage of the incident is received and further investigation is going on.
