The Federal Chartered University Commission on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the South (COMSATS) Islamabad has assured support from the Government of Balochistan to establish its campus in Quetta for the promotion of quality education.
A message was sent by the Chief Minister of Balochistan Mir Abdul Quddoos Bizenjo to the Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif for appreciating the support provided by the federal government to the government of Balochistan in the field of education.

The post said that Balochistan is the largest province area wise with and hiving the least population as compared to other provinces, but unfortunately the province is faced with accessibility issues due to its divided population.
The post said that the Federal Chartered University COMSATS Islamabad had assured support from the Government of Balochistan to establish its campus in Quetta.
The land was also provided for this purpose and the PC-1 for this project was also submitted to the Higher Education Commission in March 2022, the estimated cost of which is 6.773.012 million rupees.
It has been stated in the post that the government of Balochistan would be grateful to the federal government if it provides financial support for the said project.
