The novel corona virus continues to spread across the world and the death toll passes 4000 globally on Tuesday. Over 113000 people have been tested positive for the virus that has affected over 80 countries. Out of the affected people, 81000 have been tested positive in mainland China where the virus was first reported in late 2019.

The States have declared emergency to tackle the situation and Italy has quarantined over 10 million people to halt its spread in the country.

Trump not tested for virus 

President Donald Trump has not been tested for corona virus despite being in close contact with multiple lawmakers who are now self-quarantining due to their proximity to someone with the virus, the White House said late Monday.

In United States, so far over 700 people have been tested positive for the novel corona virus. The virus has killed 22 people in US and the virus has been reported from 20 states. Universities across the US have been closed and conducting online classes to make sure that the precious time of students is not wasted.

Chinese President Xi Jinping has made his first visit to Wuhan since the outbreak of coronavirus began more than two months ago,  the virus slowed to a trickle in the country where the disease first emerged. News agencies reported that 70 percent of the Chinese popoulation affected by the corona virus have recovered.

Pakistan 

A total of 16 people have been tested positive for the deadly corona virus. Most of the cases i.e. 13 have been reported from Karachi Sindh province and rest of the cases have been reported from the federal capital. All educational institutions  in Sindh and Balochistan have been closed following the outbreak of corona virus globally.

The Balochistan government has made a quarantine center in Quetta’s Hazarganji area to quarantine the people coming  from Iran. The virus has worst affected Iran where scores of people have died and thousands affected by the virus.

Pakistan has shut down its borders with Iran and Afghanistan to halt the spread of corona virus.
