The federal government has decided to keep the educational institutions closed until May 31st in the wake of coronavirus. This was stated by the Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood during a press conference after a meeting of the National Coordination Committee. Federal Minister Asad Umar flanked him during the press conference.

The ministers said that the decision was made as  precautionary measures to halt the spread of coronavirus in the country.
