The Balochistan government on Friday approved risk allowance for employees of the health department in view of the global outbreak of coronavirus. The employees from grade 2 to 4 would be paid Rs. 1500 as risk allowance by the provincial government, said in a notification issued by the Balochistan finance department on Friday.
However, the health department employees from grade 5 to 15 would be paid Rs. 3000 additional as health professional allowance, the notification mentioned. The government has approved these special allowances following the outbreak of coronavirus in the province.
Balochistan has so far confirmed 220 cases of novel coronavirus with two deaths caused by the virus. However, 76 people have recovered from the novel coronavirus in the province.
