Moon was sighted in the Chaman and Pasni areas of Balochistan on Saturday. Addressing a press conference, Mufti Muneeb ur Rehman said that the moon was sighted in Balochistan’s Chaman and Pasni areas of the province. Religious scholars flanked him during the press conference.
He announced that Eid ul Fitr would be observed on Sunday across the country. This was for the first time that Eid was announced on one day across Pakistan. Otherwise, the country had always seen two Eid.
