At least five tribesmen were killed in a tribal dispute in Balochistan’s Musakhail district on Thursday morning. The untoward incident happened in Killi Salmizai Tehsil Toai Sar area of the district, Levies sources said. The two armed tribes clashed over an old land dispute in the area.
One tribesman was injured as a result of firing between two armed groups. The injured was rushed to district headquarters hospital Musakhail for medical treatment. A father and two sons also among the dead, Levies said.
Levies contingent headed by assistant commissioner Musakhail reached the affected village as an investigation into the incident went underway. Tension prevails in the area in the aftermath of killing of five tribesmen.
Tribal disputes have claimed thousands of precious human lives in various parts of Balochistan.
