The federal government on Tuesday approved Rs. 29 billion projects for infrastructure development in Balochistan to bring the province at par with other parts of the country. The projects were approved during a high-level meeting regarding development schemes in the country.

Balochistan’s finance minister, Zahoor Buledi through a tweet thanked prime minister, Imran Khan and federal minister Asad Umar for extending support to the provincial government with regard to the approval of the development schemes.

This development has come days after the chief minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan staged a walk-out from the planning commission’s meeting with regard to the forthcoming budget in the country.

The construction of new roads include Ziarat realization, Dukki to Chamalang, Sasana to Aghberg, Buleda to Balghetar, Mand to Buleda, Zero point Lasbella to Sindh and Pishin to Khanozai.
