Chief Justice Balochistan High Court (BHC), Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail has recovered from the deadly virus on Thursday evening. Justice Jamal Mandokhail was tested positive for the novel coronavirus in late May this year.

The Chief Justice’s test came negative and he has fully recovered, a well-placed official at the BHC told the daily Quetta Voice via telephone. “Justice Mandokhail is going to be back in the court”, he said. The CJ BHC battled the deadly virus at his residence in isolation.

It may be mentioned here that Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail was heading a bench hearing the Coronavirus case in the BHC. Senior lawyers of the province had filed a petition in the court regarding the outbreak of the pandemic.

Other family members of the chief justice who had earlier tested positive for the virus also tested negative and recovered from the virus.
