Levies Force arrested four suspects in connection with the bike snatching incident from a polio vaccinator in Balochistan’s Pishin district. Huramzai Levies Force conducted a raid and arrested four suspected people.
“A pistol has also been recovered from the possession of accused”, Qaim Lashari, the Deputy Commissioner Pishin told the daily Quetta Voice. Levies are interrogating the accused in connection with the bike snatching incident from polio vaccinator Abdullah Sheikh the other day.
Unknown accused tried to snatch motorcycle from Sheikh, a polio vaccinator returning back from anti polio campaign in district’s Malezai area. The incident happened at a time when an anti-campaign was underway in the area. The polio worker was injured in the incident and was shifted to district headquarter hospital Pishin.
Militants in the past have targeted polio volunteers in the area. However, Mr Lashari clarified that recent incidents had nothing to do with the polio campaign.
