Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan on Wednesday said recently established mobile police station was equipped with the latest technology to address issues and complaints of the masses on the spot. Jam Kamal formally inaugurated the mobile police station in Quetta, the first-ever initiative across Pakistan.
Home Minister Balochistan, Mir Ziaullah Langove, Inspector General Police, Mohsin Butt and other officials were also present on the occasion.

“Mobile police units to be made functional in other districts of Balochistan too”, the Chief Minister announced. He said mobile police will solve the issues of masses and address their complaints to a large extent.
Police verification, character certificates, rent verification etc would be issued on the spot by the police station.
“We have planned to digitalize police department to make sure timely redressal of masses complaints”, Jam Kamal said. He said all police stations would be digitalized and upgraded to ensure timely response to masses.
About the fast-approaching Aushora in Balochistan, the Chief Minister said fool-proof security measures were adopted to avoid the occurrence of any untoward incident during Muharram. Quetta city in the past has seen the worst kinds of sectarian terrorist incidents. Keeping in view past incidents, the Balochistan government has made extra-ordinary security arrangements to maintain the order during Muharram.
