Equal development for all districts of Balochistan: Jam Kamal

TURBAT: Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan has said the provincial government has evolved a comprehensive strategy to ensure equal development for all districts of the province. The Chief Minister arrived in Turbat on Thursday to review the pace of development projects in the Mekran division.

Government launches massive development projects in Southern Balochistan

Jam Kamal stated that the government has decided to launch a massive development program to construct roads, improve social indicators. He said the provincial government in collaboration with the federal government was determined to develop all backward parts of Balochistan to bring them at par with other developed parts of the country.

He said work would be started on the construction of Hoshab-Turbat, Mand-Turbat, Mand-Gwadar, Turbat-Buleda to develop southern parts of Balochistan. He said after completion of these projects the Mekran division would be linked with other parts of the province.

Rs. 2 billion to be spent on the development of Turbat 

About the Turbat City Development Project, Jam Kamal said this project worth more than Rs. 2 billion would help beautification of the city and solving masses issues. Provincial ministers, Arif Jan Muhammad Hassani, Asad Baloch, Abdul Khaliq Hazara, and others also accompanied the chief minister during his visit.

CM visits Panjgur, inaugurated university campus

The Chief Minister also visited Turbat Univesity Panjgur Campus. He hailed the efforts of the administration and academic staff to make the campus functional. The campus would enable the students to get an opportunity to study at their door-steps.

Secretary of health Balochistan, Dostain Khan Jamaldini briefed the chief minister about health facilities at the district headquarters hospital in Panjgur. The  chief minister also inspected a number of development schemes in Panjgur.
