Dr. Zahir Mandokhail appointed as principal BMC

QUETTA: The government of Balochistan has appointed a senior physician, Dr. Zahir Khan Mandokhail as the Principal of Bolan Medical Complex (BMC). Mr. Mandokhail was serving as a professor in the medicine department in grade-20 in BMC hospital currently. The Balochistan government issued a notification in this regard on Friday.

Dr. Naseer Ahmed who was serving as the Principal BMC has been transferred and posted as the head of the pharmacy department of the largest government-run hospital of the province.

Dr. Zahir Khan Mandokhail elected as the President of the Bolan Medical Teachers Association (BMTA) in 2018 for three years. He played a crucial role in highlighting the issues faced by health professionals across Balochistan.

Dr. Mandokhail got primary education from Zhob

Dr. Mandokhail got his primary education from the Zhob district of Balochistan province. He got 2nd position in FSc from Zhob degree college and passed MBBS from BMC. He did his FCPS in 2002 and appointed through the Balochistan Public Service Commission (BPSC) as an assistant professor in 2005. As a professor, he got a promotion in 2015.
