Minor boy murder in Killa Abdullah accused confesses crime before court

A key accused involved in the rape and murder of a minor boy in Balochistan’s Killa Abdullah district confessed his crime before a judicial magistrate in Quetta. The accused Yahya had raped and murdered an eight-year-old boy in the Maizai Addah area of Killa Abdullah earlier this month.

“The accused confessed the crime in his confessional statement before a judicial magistrate in Quetta”, Wazir Khan Nasar, the Deputy Inspector General of Police Crimes Branch told Quetta Voice. The case transferred to the Crimes Branch for investigation on the directives of the Balochistan High Court (BHC). The accused Yaha had already confessed the crime when interrogated by the Crimes Branch in Killa Abdullah. The BHC had directed the CB to support levies force in investigation of the case, Wazir Khan Nasar informed.

Levies arrested the main accused Yahya from the Maizai Addah area of Killa Abdullah. Levies had also arrested another co-accused Jaffar from Maizai Addah in connection with the rape and murder of a minor boy. “We are also interrogating the co-accused Jaffar”, the Mr. Nasar mentioned.

The murder of the minor boy widely condemned on social media by political parties, people of the area, and civil society. Chief Justice Balochistan High Court (BHC), Mr. Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail had taken the notice of the murder of minor boy.

The main accused Yahar in his confessional statement confessed that first, he raped and then murdered the minor boy. “The minor told me that he will tell his parents about the incident”, the police officer said quoting the accused. The key accused has been shifted to district jail Quetta after a confessional statement before the court of law.

Incidents of violence against women and children have increased in Balochistan during the current year. An 8-year old minor boy raped and murdered in Balochistan’s Kalat district the other day. The incident has caused outrage across Balochistan and people have demanded of the government to arrest the culprits.
