PDM protest an attempt to hide corruption: Bushra Rind

Staff Reporter :

Balochistan parliamentary secretary on information, Bushra Rind on Saturday asserted that protest by the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) was an attempt to hide corruption. “Government has decided to bring corrupt people to book”, she told a news conference in Quetta.

Bushra Rind said the elements who looted national wealth would be awarded exemplary punishment. She said the present government will not make any compromise over the rights of the masses.

“PML N’s narrative is a replica of Indian narrative”, she claimed. The parliamentary secretary on the information stated that component parties of the PDM were playing with the lives of the masses by staging protest demonstrations despite the looming threat of the COVID19.

The opposition has to stop agitation after increasing COVID19 cases

“They (opposition) have to stop agitation following increasing cases of the virus”, she said. Bushra Rind said cases of the novel coronavirus were on a constant rise in the country. It is beyond imagination that opposition is still bent upon holding gatherings, she added.

She mentioned that the present government has taken considerable steps to develop all parts of Balochistan. Schools, hospitals, roads, and other projects are being completed to address the issues of the masses, she noted.

Bushra Rind said peace has returned to Balochistan in the aftermath of sacrifices rendered by the security forces and masses of the province. “No compromise on national interests”, she said, adding that masses can now differentiate between opportunists and sincere political leaders in the country.
