Gwadar fencing a conspiracy against Balochs: Senator Kabir

QUETTA: Central Vice-President, National Party (NP), Senator Kabir Muhammad Shahi has termed alleged fencing in Gwadar as a conspiracy against Balochs. Addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club on Thursday evening, the Senator blamed the federal government for separating Gwadar from the rest of the province.
Central Secretary General NP, Jan Muhammad Buledi, Abdul Khaliq Baloch, and other leaders of the Baloch nationalist party were also present on the occasion.
“We will oppose such moves through democratic way”, Senator Kabir said, adding that none would be allowed to swallow the resources of Baloch masses. He reiterated that coast and resources belong to the Baloch masses and that none would be allowed to exploit them.
NP leaders announced to launch a movement against the government
The NP leaders announced that they would launch a movement against the government for the rights of the people of Gwadar along with other democratic and political forces of the country.
Senator Kabir thus claimed that most of the jobs on the Balochistan quota were occupied through fake domiciles. He demanded immediate cancellation of all fake domiciles in Balochistan.
“There is no representation of Balochistan on a national level”, the Senator added, saying that all political parties would be apprised about the prevailing sense of deprivation among the people of Balochistan. “We would continue the democratic and parliamentary struggle”, he stated.
