Pak Afghan border fencing: settlement issues be resolved: Home Minister

Home Minister Balochistan, Mir Ziaullah Langove on Tuesday said the government was amicably resolving settlement issues at the Pak-Afghan border. Mr. Langove chaired a high-level meeting that reviewed a number of issues relating to the Pak-Afghan border.

“Balochistan government serious in addressing settlement issues at the border”, the Home Minister stated. The Minister directed the district administration and revenue department to submit a report in this regard.

Additional chief secretary, Hafiz Abdul Basit, inspector general of police Rai Muhammad Tahir, deputy inspector general police, Muhammad Azhar Akram, commandant frontier corps, colonel Muhammad Rashid and other high ups attended the meeting.

The meeting thoroughly discussed issues relating to Balochistan and the Pak-Afghan border.

“Work is in progress at the fencing of Pak-Afghan border”, the minister told the meeting. This will help in the reduction of terrorist incidents, the meeting observed.

The recommendations of the tribal elders valued in terms of boosting bilateral relations with neighboring Afghanistan, the meeting was told. Through consultation, all issues would be addressed at the border, the meeting decided.
