WHO donates 7 ambulances to Balochistan government

The World Health Organization (WHO) on Monday donated 7 well-equipped ambulances to the Balochistan government. The UN organization for health also donated 15 motorbikes to the provincial government.
Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan, representative of the WHO, Dr. Mahipala Palitha, provincial ministers, and other high-ups were also present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Jam Kamal said the third wave of COVID19 was dangerous. The third wave has claimed scores of precious human lives in India and Bangladesh, he said.

Health plan being prepared
Jam Kamal thus informed that the provincial government was making a strategy and preparing a health plan to improve health services in the province. “Health sector is one of the top priorities of my government”, the CM mentioned. He underlined the need for human resource and improving infrastructure to improve health services in the province.
The WHO representatives handed over the keys of ambulances and motorbikes to the Chief Minister on the occasion. Jam Kamal thanked the UN health organization for its support in improving the health services and battling the COVID19.
