Storms, rains, hailstorms wreak havoc in Dhadar Balochistan

Storms, rains, and hailstorms wreaked havoc in Balochistan’s Dhadar area on Friday evening. One person was killed and 16 others injured as a result of strong winds and torrential rains.

Storms and rains killed hundreds of cattle including sheep and goats in the outskirts of Dhadar.  Niamat Tareen, the Tehsildar Dhahdar said more than 500 cattle including sheep and goats.

“Strong wind blew away tents and livestock”, Mr. Tareen informed.

“Strong wind blew away tents and livestock”, Mr. Tareen informed. He said the walls and roofs of buildings also collapsed as a result of strong winds and rains.

Tehsildar stated that 35 electricity poles also fell due to strong winds. “Survey launched to assess the damages caused by torrential rains”, he informed.
