Ziarat: 1 killed 8 injured in a tribal dispute

At least 2 people were killed and 8 injured in a tribal dispute in Ziarat, Balochistan’s famous tourist town. Police said two tribes clashed on a land dispute in Ziarat on Tuesday. It was a long tribal dispute between the tribes, police added.

Tension prevailed in the tourist town in the aftermath of the tribal clash. Warring tribes also set shops on fire. “Almost 15 shops were burnt during the clash”, Levies sources said.

Levies and police reached the spot to avert another untoward incident after armed clash. Other tribesmen from nearby villages also rushed towards the tourist point to avert a major tribal clash.
