Enraged heirs stage protest outside DC Chaman office

Sardar Muhammad Khondai:

Enraged heirs of a young man staged a protest demonstration outside the Deputy Commissioner’s office on Thursday. The protesters were seeking permission to shift the dead body of a young man to Afghanistan via Pak-Afghan border Chaman. The heirs of the victims could not cross because of continued closure of the border.
The heirs were chanting slogans against the government for closure of the border.
“There is no ban on shifting the dead body”, DC Chaman, Captain (R) Jumadad Mandokhail told Quetta Voice.
Ambulance arranged for shifting the dead body, Mr. Mandokhail said.
The protesters ended the sit in peacefully after successful negotiations with district administration.
The DC assured that border would be opened for the stranded people within next couple of days.
