CTD kills seven suspected terrorists in Loralai Balochistan

The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Wednesday killed seven suspected terrorists in Balochistan’s Loralai district. Spokesman CTD said security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Kohar Dam area of Loralai.

“Seven terrorists were killed during an exchange of fire”, the Spokesman said. The spokesman stated that the dead terrorists belonged to an outlawed militant organization. The terrorists had moved from Afghanistan and were planning to carry out terrorist activity in the area, the Spokesman added.

The CTD conducted the IBO on an intelligence report. Two to three terrorists managed to escape from the spot while taking benefit of the darkness, the Spokesman said.

Security forces also recovered huge catch of arms and ammunition from the possession of terrorists. Afghani and Pakistani currency also recovered from the possession of the terrorists, the Spokesman concluded.
