Governor Balochistan accepts resignations of 3 BAP ministers

QUETTA: Governor Balochistan, Syed Zahoor Ahmed Agha has accepted the resignations of three angry provincial ministers. Sources in the Balochistan Governor’s Secretariat said the resignations of three ministers including Mir Zahoor Buledi, Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran, and Asad Baloch on Friday.

The ministers had tendered resignations as protests against Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan. The ministers, advisers, and parliamentary secretaries submitted their resignations after Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan refused to resign. The incumbent CM rather chaired an important meeting of the Balochistan cabinet, which made a number of important decisions on Wednesday.

Resignations of Zahoor Buledi, Asad Baloch, and Sardar Khetran accepted

Finance Minister, Mir Zahoor Buledi, Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran, Mir Asad Baloch, Advisers to the CM including, Mir Muhammad  Khan  Lehri, Akbar Askani, parliamentary secretaries Bushra Rind, Mahjabeen Rind, Lala Rasheed, Mir Sikandar Umrani, and others.

Differences emerged within the ruling party when the opposition submitted a no-confidence motion against CM Balochistan on September 16. The opposition had accused the CM of ignoring the constituencies of opposition lawmakers and diverting all development funds to his own constituency. The charge was vehemently denied by the incumbent CM.

Governor sent back the no-confidence motion after a technical mistake

Governor Balochistan had sent the no-confidence motion back to the assembly secretariat citing a technical issue. Elven members of the ruling party have opposed the CM and demanded his resignation. Jam Kamal had resigned from the slot of the president of the BAP. He also visited the houses of the angry members to end the protest and join the government affairs.

The angry BAP ministers, advisers, and parliamentary secretaries had earlier halted their official activities as a protest against the CM. This has severely affected the official activities in the Civil Secretariat Balochistan.
