The assembly session would be held on October 20th at 4 pm on Zarghoon road Quetta, an official handout issued by the Governor’s secretariat said on Saturday afternoon.

Eleven members of the ruling Balochistan Awami Party (BAP), two members from the Balochistan National Party (Awami), and a member of the Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI) have signed the no-confidence motion. They submitted the no-confidence motion against the CM on October 12.

All talks failed between BAP factions

All talks between the two factions of the ruling BAP failed and finally, the Governor convened the assembly session. The chair would ask the leader of the house to take the vote of confidence from the house, sources in the assembly secretariat told Quetta Voice.

The opposition members had submitted a no-confidence motion against the CM Jam Kamal on September 16. However, the Governor’s secretariat sent the no-confidence motion back after finding a technical fault.

Mir Zahoor Buledi, the acting president of his own faction of BAP said the lawmakers would support a no-confidence motion against the CM. When the CM meets the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), it is good, and when the angry members meet, it is bad, Mr. Buledi tweeted.
