Govt determines to provide additional funds to Balochistan: President Alvi

QUETTA: President Dr. Arif Alvi has assured that the federal government has determined to provide additional funds to Balochistan to bring it at par with other parts of the country.
The President arrived in Quetta on Monday on a two-day visit. Governor Balochistan, Syed Zahoor Agha and Chief Minister Mir Quddus Bizenjo received the President at Quetta airport.

“We want to remove the sense of deprivation among the people of  Balochistan”, he said. The Governor and Chief Minister Balochistan briefed the President about the ongoing development projects and law order situation in the province.

President chairs a meeting about special people 

The President also chaired a meeting about special people at Governor’s House. Speaking on the occasion, the President said the government has decided in principle to make special people as useful citizens of the country. “Government wants to facilitate the special people”, he said.
Dr. Alvi directed the concerned officials to impart vocational training to special people so that they could also play their dur role in the development and prosperity of the country and nation.
