CM Balochistan approves permanent orders of 1493 GPE teachers

QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Quddus Bizenjo has approved permanent orders of Global Partnership for Education (GPE) teachers on Saturday. A total of 1493 teachers under the GPE project would be issued permanent appointment orders, an official handout released by the CM Secretariat said.

The CM Balochistan has given this approval on a summary sent by the Secretary of Education Balochistan in this regard. GPE teachers were protesting for last more than a year for appointment orders. They had also staged protest demonstrations and staged sit-ins in Quetta to mount pressure on the government to issue permanent orders.

Despite repeated assurances, the government had not issued them permanent orders.
