50% promotion quota of teachers to be implemented: Naseebullah Marri

KOHLU: Balochistan education minister, Naseebullah Marri on Saturday said that a 50% promotion quota of teachers would be fully implemented. He expressed these views while speaking on the occasion of the visit of government boys model high school Kohlu.

“Government teachers would be promoted as per the promotion policy”, the Minister assured the teachers present in the school. Mr. Marri inaugurated a new building constructed inside the school in Kohlu. He said implementation of a 50% promotion quota was a long-standing demand of teachers of Balochistan.

Naseebullah Marri informed that thousands of teachers would be appointed on merit across Balochistan in near future. He said appointments would be made in all teaching and non-teaching staff throughout the province.

He urged the teachers to ensure their presence in government-run schools of Balochistan. “Through education, we can compete on national and international levels”, Mr. Marri stated. District Education Officer (DEO), Jaffar Khan Zarkoon, Hafeezullah Marri, Shams Marri and others were also present on the occasion.
