Huge crowds in Gwadar in support of right movement

GWADAR: Huge crowds turned out in Gwadar in support of their demands on Friday evening. Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman, the cleric from the port city led the protesters demanding basic rights for the people of Gwadar. Women and children were also among the protesters.

“This movement would underway till acceptance of our demands”, the Maulana told the crowd gathered in the port city. Strict security measures were adopted by the administration to avoid the occurrence of any untoward incident on the eve of the demonstration.

The protesters marched on various roads of the port city and chanted full-throated slogans in support of their demands. “This is a peaceful and just struggle”, Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman stated.

The protest has been going on in Gwadar for almost a month. Besides men, women and children are also part of the protest.
