Quetta hospital fraudulently removes kidney of a patient

Staff Reporter :

A private hospital in Quetta has fraudulently removed the kidney of a patient the other day. Imran Masih, a patient went to a hospital on Aiport road for removal of kidney stones. However, the doctors had fraudulently removed his kidney instead of stones removal surgery. There was no immediate response from the private hospital located on Quetta’s airport road. Although, Quetta Voice made repeated attempts to get the hospital’s version.

The patient is a class 4 employee of Balochistan Assembly. He went to Karachi after his condition deteriorated and the doctors there told him that Quetta’s doctor has removed his kidney. Imran Masih is also complaining about pain from the only kidney left.

Zafar Rind, leader of Balochistan Assembly Employees Union, has called upon higher authorities for lodging FIR against the surgeons involved in the fraudulent kidney removal of Imran Masih. We approached the police but they denied, Rind told Quetta Voice.

If Justice is not provided to us then we will give a protest call, he stated. The patient belongs to a poor family and went for his kidney stones treatment to a private hospital located at Airport road of Quetta.

This is not the first time that doctors fraudulently remove kidney or any other organ of patients in Balochistan. Last year doctors of Quetta fraudulently removed an organ of young girl in Nawa Killi area of the city.
