Three suspects arrested for cutting down trees in Zhob

District Zhob administration arrested three suspects for cutting down trees in Killi Khanzai Usmanzai Jangle. Locals of the area had informed activists of the Asher movement about the deforestation in the area, Juma Khan Babar one of the activists of Asher said.
The local administration detained the suspects and released them after imposing a fine on them. People of the area thanked Secretary Forest and Wildlife, Dostain Khan Jamaldini, Sultan Muhammad Lawan, and other officials for taking notice of the deforestation in the area.
Zhob and Sherani districts of Balochistan house ancient forests and trees. Environmentalists consider these forests and trees important for improving the ecosystem in the area.
