Gas leakage blast injured 3 in Quetta Pashtoonabad

Manan Mandokhail :

A gas leakage blast has injured 3 people in Quetta’s Pashtoonabad area on Thursday morning. Police said all three injured had suffered burn injuries. Rescue workers rushed the injured of the gas blast to the burn unit of the Bolan Medical College (BMC) for medical treatment.

Police said the gas leakage caused the blast, which injured three of a family in the room. The incident happened on Abdul Wali Chowk Pashtoonabad. The injured were identified as Mukhtiar Ahmed, Abdul Khaliq, and Osama.

Such incidents have become the order of the day in Quetta city and its suburbs in the current freezing temperatures. Low or no gas pressure in the suburbs of Quetta city has been causing such explosions. The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has failed to provide a gas supply to the consumers in freezing temperatures.
