50 students of Balochistan secure scholarships through PIHS program

50 students of Balochistan got scholarships through the Prime Institute of Health Sciences (PIHS). Taraqee Foundation, a leading non-governmental organization in Balochistan had coordinated and ensured the provision of scholarships to the students through the PIHS.
On Saturday, Governor Balochistan, Syed Zahoor Ahmed Agha met and interacted with successful students who obtained the scholarships. Pakistan’s Ambassador to Sudan, Mir Behroz Reki, Chief of Taraqee Foundation (TF), Amjad Rasheed, Chairman PIHS, Abdul Majid and others were also present on the occasion.
“Students play important role in the development and prosperity of the country”, Governor Balochistan said during the ceremony. He said students of Balochistan had the talent to compete on national and international levels. “It is just a matter of opportunity and facility”, Mr. Agha stated.
Syed Zahoor Agha said that the 50 students who obtained the scholarships are the ambassadors of the province and country and they should play their due role. He however urged the media men to portray a soft and positive image of Balochistan on national and international levels.
He hailed the performance and contribution of TF and its Chief Executive Amjad Rasheed on the occasion. All successful male and female students who got the scholarships were also present on the occasion.
