A coal miner dies as mine collapsed in Wadh Balochistan

Three coal miners were seriously injured in a methane gas blast in Balochistan’s Dukki district on Monday morning. The miners were working deep inside the mine when there was a blast. In the explosion three coal miners were seriously injured, levies sources said.

The injured coal miners were rushed to district headquarters hospital Dukki for medical treatment. The injured coal miners were identified as Adnan Khan, Sharif Khan, and Saramdal. They all belong to Swat Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa.

Hazardous working conditions inside coal mines of Dukki and other parts of Balochistan have claimed thousands of precious human lives. Especially, such incidents are order of the day in Dukki, which has rich coal reservoirs.
