Balochistan National Party (Mengal) MNAs, Agha Hassan Baloch and Hashim Notezai would take oath as federal ministers tomorrow (Friday). Agha Hassan would be allotted the portfolio of federal minister for science and technology and Hashim Notezai would be state minister for power, Sajid Tareen Advocate, the Central leader of BNP told Quetta Voice.
Mr. Tareen informed the oath-taking ceremony of the two federal ministers would take place tomorrow in the afternoon. “After assurance of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, we have agreed to be part of the federal cabinet”, Mr. Tareen mentioned.
BNP Chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal had earlier announced not to be part of the federal cabinet in the aftermath of the firing incident in the Chaghi district of Balochistan. A driver identified Hameedullah was killed in the firing incident. The killing of the driver had sparked violent protests in the area.
