District and Session Judge Quetta has convicted two accused to 28-years rigorous imprisonment (RI) for raping a 17-year-old girl. Dawood Khan Nasar, the Judge announced the judgment on Friday. The court also fined the accused.

According to the prosecution, the accused Abdul Rehman and Naseebullah had raped a 17-year-old girl in the jurisdiction of civil line police station Quetta. Police had registered a case on behalf of the victim at the civil line police station.

Police had submitted a challan with regard to the case and lawyers of either side concluded their arguments regarding the case. The judge had reserved the judgment.

The court convicted both the accused to 14 years imprisonment each in the case. They were also fined by the court. In the case of non-payment of a fine. The accused would have to spend more time inside the jail.
