QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Quddus Bizenjo has sacked provincial ministers, parliamentary secretaries and advisers who had signed a no-confidence motion against him. The CM has sacked Nawabzada Tariq Magsi, Mobeen Khilji, Mir Niamatullah Zehri, Mitha Khan Kakar, Malik Naeem Bazai and Shahina Kakar, an official handout issued on Wednesday night said.

However, Nawabzada Tariq Magsi, the provincial minister from the ruling Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) had resigned prior to the official handout. “Morally, I could not be part of the cabinet after signing the no-confidence motion”, Mr. Magsi told Quetta Voice via telephone.

The CM has issued an advisory in this regard. The Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD) will shortly issue a notification regarding the termination of the provincial ministers, parliamentary secretaries and advisers, the statement concluded.

The CM has taken this step in the aftermath of a no-confidence motion against him by the former Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan, Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind, Asghar Khan Achakzai and others.
