Landslide kills a coal miner in Dukki Balochistan

A landslide has killed a coal miner in Balochistan’s Dukki district on Saturday. Levies sources said a coal miner was working deep inside the coal mine when a landslide hit him. The coal miner identified as Abdul Wajid alias Badogai was killed inside the mine.

Coal miners from nearby mines reached the affected mine and retrieved the dead body. The dead body of the hapless coal miner was shifted to district headquarters hospital Dukki. The mine belonged to Afghanistan.

The hospital staff handed over the dead body of the miner after the completion of necessary official procedures.

Such incidents inside coal mines of Balochistan have become the order of the day. Thousands of coal mines have lost their lives while extracting coal from mines located in Quetta, Bolan, Dukki, Harnai and other parts of Balochistan.
