Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Shehak Baloch handed over a reward and an appreciation certificate to the city’s heroic driver Muhammad Faisal Baloch on Friday. The city’s heroic driver drove away a burning oil tanker and saved human lives and properties in the Qambrani Road area.

“Faisal deserves appreciation”, Shahak Baloch said after handing over the reward to the hero driver. The DC had invited the driver and appreciated him for his bravery.

Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Quddus Bizenjo had also announced a special reward of Rs.5,00,000 for the driver Muhammad Faisal Baloch in recognition of his bravery.

The video of the burning oil tanker went viral on social media across the country and abroad. It was widely shared on various social media forums. People hailed the bravery of the heroic driver who saved human lives by endangering his own life.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s office also contacted the driver and invited him to Islamabad. “Very soon, this hero would be in Islamabad”, Salman Sufi, the head of the Strategic Reforms at the Prime Minister’s office said.
