BFA recovers unhealthy edible oil and ghee in Quetta

Balochistan Food Authority recovered a huge quantity of substandard oil and ghee bottles from the provincial capital, Quetta. The BFA officials raided on a factory synthesizing and selling low quality and unhealthy oil and ghee.
Attempts to sell unhealthy food items on the name of local brands were thwarted by BFA this Monday morning. The factory producing such illegal edible oil was located on the Eastern Bypass of Quetta, Director General BFA Muhammad Naeem Bazai.
We recovered hundreds of filled and empty bottles of sub-stranded oil and ghee sold on the name of local brands, DG BFA told Quetta Voice.
A rapid rise in the cardiovascular diseases has been seen in the last few years due to usage of unhealthy edible oil and ghee, Health officer of BFA commented. It has been seen that people cooking food in good quality oil has improved their health complications.
