Fourteen people injured in a Hand Grenade blast in Quetta

At least fourteen people were injured in a hand grenade attack in Quetta, Balochistan on Thursday night. The location of the blast is said to be Joint road, one of the busiest roads of the provincial capital of Balochistan. The blast rocked the area on the night of 4th August.
Soon after the blast the injured were shifted to Civil Hospital Quetta for medical treatment and an emergency was declared in the hospital. Almost 14 people are injured in the blast, Waseem Baig, the Spokesman Civil Hospital told Quetta Voice.
Police and FC personals reached the spot. They cordoned off the area and investigation is underway from the spot. Panic prevailed in Joint road and surrounding areas after the hand grenade blast.
Chief Minister Baluchistan Mir Abdul Qadoos Bizenjo has strongly condemned the incident. The terrorists would be brought to book soon, he said. The CM Balochistan directed the police to submit a comprehensive report about the blast.
