The Commander 12 Corps, Lieutenant. General Asif Ghafoor visited the Jhal Magsi and NaseerAbad districts of Balochistan. Lt. General Asif Ghafoor visited all the flood-hit areas of both the districts and was briefed about the current flood situation.

Rescue and relief missions by Army and FC continue all across Balochistan. Commander 12 Corps Lt Gen Asif Ghafoor visited Hairdin, Dera Murad Jamali, Naseerabad, Jhal Magsi and Ghandawa. Floods have badly hit already poverty-hit far-flung and inaccessible areas of Balochistan making relief activities more challenging.

Efforts are being further expedited on the restoration of road links while many areas are still dependent on air effort. Commander assured the flood affectees that their rehabilitation remains a national obligation and that every possible step will be taken in this regard.

On this occasion, Corps Commander Balochistan, Asif Ghafoor appreciated the efforts of the district administration and also met the flood victims and assured them that the Pakistan Army is taking all possible measures to help the flood victims. The flood victims will not be left alone, he added.

The flood victims should work with patience and perseverance in this time of trouble, he sympathized. Lt Gen Asif Ghafoor said that the district administration has been bound. That they will remain busy in your service, Pak Army and FC soldiers will be engaged in your service, in no case will you be left alone until the complete rehabilitation of the flood victims is completed.

They will not sit down, they also told the district administration all attention should be focused on the relief and rehabilitation of the flood victims, and the departments should carry out the responsibilities assigned to them in an efficient manner so that the problems of the people can be solved, the Commander 12 corps told the flood affectees.
