NHA warns people of travelling on NA- 25 and 50 Highways

The National Highway Authority has warned people of travelling on Quetta-Karachi Highway. The people of Karachi and Balochistan are asked not to travel on Qta-Khi highway due to suspension of road network caused by recent floods.

In a message to mobile phone users the NHA authority has requested people not to travel on NA-25 and 50. These national highways pass through Bostan, Pishin, Kalat, Yaru, Bela, Hub and Dilsora areas of the province.

Flash floods caused by the torrential rains has affected lives of 33 Million people country wide. Almost, all the provinces of Pakistan are hit by floods but Balochistan is faced with worst situation.

Nearly 260 people died due to floods in the province in the past few weeks.

Not only road but also railway networks of Balochistan are suspended due to floods.

The province is disconnected from rest of the Pakistan both via road and rail networks as floods drowned roads and railway tracks.

People are still stuck in Bolan district of the province due to breakage of BiBi Nani bridge, connecting Quetta with Khuzdar and other Baloch dominated districts.
