Turkey provides relief goods for flood affectees in Pakistan

Turkey provided 630 tons of relief goods for the flood-affected people in Pakistan. A train of 28 bogies carrying relief goods for the flood-affected people reached the Pak-Iran Taftan border from western Turkey, a Pakistani official at Taftan told Daily Quetta Voice.

The officials of Turkey’s Red Cresent handed over the relief goods to the Pakistan Red Cresent Society. The goods contained tents, blankets, mattresses, and other relief goods which will be distributed among the affected people, the official informed.

This is the second batch of relief goods from Turkey for the people who are severely affected by raging floods in Pakistan. Eearlier, Turkish Red Cresent had brought two hundred tents, nineteen blankets, three hundred mattresses, and other relief materials to the affectees in Pakistan by a trawler.

Another train from the Turkish Red Crescent will also reach the Taftan border soon with relief goods.
