Manan Mandokhail, Syed Ali Shah:

QUETTA: The murderer of three brothers turned out to be their own brother in Quetta’s Railway Society. “We have arrested the accused brother in connection with the murder of his own brothers”, Abdul Haq Umrani, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations told Daily Quetta Voice.

There was no immediate response from the family of the murdered brothers since the parents were suffering from dumb agony and trauma.

Three young brothers identified as Zaryal Khan, Zarang Khan, and Saidal Khan were killed in a firing incident in Quetta’s Railway Society. The victims were sons of well-known medical professional Dr. Nasir Ashezai.

“We are interrogating the accused Qais Khan”, Mr. Umrani said. The accused was shifted to the police station for interrogation. The victims were coming back from a wedding when killed by their own brother, the SSP mentioned.

Police have also recovered the pistol used in the incident. “The accused opened fire on real brothers because of his greed for wealth”, police stated. The accused used to quarrel with his brothers on property issues, police narrated.

The victims were buried in the presence of thousands of mourners in Chaman’s Murda Karez area. People expressed sympathies with the broken parents who suffered the tragedy of their young sons.
